I remember IRC from back in the day. The kaizoku bots were how I filled my junior year with more One Piece than anyone needs to see.
Seriously though, I would never ever use it. I hate IRC with a passion. People who idle for days in an IRC channel and never check it are too numerious for my tastes.
Massive aim chats are usually p. fun though. I just tend to ignore anything that isn't a chat invite from those people though.
the only problem with aim chats is the amount of people allowed in one chat is limited unlike irc channels where you can have as many as you want. its funny. i created an irc2aim bot to connect the chats making it easier for people to choose which they prefer and still be able to talk
Well if we do open up a chat, and we've been talking about it, it'd be web-based (either Flash or Java), so we could just give people a web address to go to.
