Well after the parenthesis in the (weapons are allowed rules) it says like (no trailing wires and stuff) then lists out of parenthesis other kinds of weapons...the weapon i want to bring is a 7ft artemis rod scithe from

I assume you are talking about this correct? Assuming the weapon is made of prop-safe material, it should be fine. Do remember though... VV

I brought a 7ft scythe last year, and it did pass weapons check. Mine was pvc and foam.

All I have to say is be VERY mindful of not hitting the chandlers, other people, or the ceilings xD And if you walk outside that thing becomes like a weather vain.

Like what Roxie says just be mindful of the other attendees and staff members. Don't careless swing it around as you wlak or drag it behind you. Try to keep it up and close to your body. For photos try to move to an empty low traffic area or a nice outside area to avoid causing traffic jams in the halls. I've been hit several times by attendees who were careless with their props and didn't seem to care fi they hit someone else. If you do hit someone make sure you recognize that you did it and apologize to that person.
