IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

A Summer Matsuri has MOVED.

We will now be at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester, NH.

We are EXTREMELY sorry for any trouble this may cause.

The schedule is not expected to change much, but we may be rearranging events to be slightly earlier on Saturday evening.

ONCE AGAIN. A SUMMER MATSURI IS NOT CANCELLED.

It WILL be this weekend at the Radisson Hotel, in Manchester, NH.

I question the Wisdom of Changing the Location Two Days before the Event... I KNOW that there are People who do not Read the Site who will now show up at the Old Location and wonder where everyone is, just like I almost did back in June, except that I had Checked the Site the Day before the Con was supposed to be and found out that it had been Rescheduled. I've been Checking more Frequently because of that, but I almost did not check again today, as I had just Checked Yesterday. I will try to make sure that the People I have talked to will know that the Location has Changed, but since ALL of your Posters and Publicity says it is at the I Center, I can be Sure that there will be a Large Gathering of Cosplayers there with nowhere to go and No Idea that it has been Moved. This will no doubt cut Attendance drastically. However, it is nice to see it getting back to the Location of the First AAC, since it is Closer to Home for me by at least 15 Minutes. You might want to Check your Location Page, though, because it seems to have both the Nashua Raddison and the Manchester Raddison, which is the one you say it is now at, listed. This also may Confuse prospective Con Goers. Meowth, that's Wrong!

Gee you are right, the staff isn't happy about the change as well, but the circumstances are beyond our control, I'm sure glad we're still on with the event, we'd feel terrible about canceling.

without getting into detail of why the ICenter was a no go, there was a need to change the location otherwise it would have happened at all. Also everything that had the ICenter as it's location have been updated with the new location. The Nashua thing is a typo that I'll point out to Alex ASAP (cut the guy some slack he's one of the people that was able to get location changed and has been very busy with AAC work, regular work, and going back to school)

As Ed said, we were basically forced to either change locations or cancel the event 72 hours out.

As for the people SHOWING UP at the ICENTER, we will be having staff taking shifts handing out directions and redirecting people to the new location.

Okay, good. At least you have a Plan for that. I kind of Figured that you might, but I just wanted to point that out if you didn't. You could probably get a Carpool Shuttle or something going between the two locations for people who could have made it to Salem and not Manchester, too, but that might be a bit of Trouble and too Expensive to do. As for the Web Site, I was just Pointing Out that it was an Error so you could Fix it. The way I see it, if no one Pointed it out, it would not get Fixed.
