Chess Theme for 2010 Chosen!

I saw it last year and it is just like chess except the pieces are people dressed up as somebody and do battle on a giant board.

Oh okay, do you need to know how to play chess? I'm terrible at it and I'm a little iffy on the rules.

Nope, you don't need to know anything other than how your particular piece moves! The actual chess part is handled by the hosts, and you just move as they tell you to.

A very awesome theme. I have one question though; Do the costumes have to be Japanese oriented? I am bringing my Tinkerbell Costume, but Disney is not Japanese...

Paula from earthbound (not sure if you could find anyone in the gaming/anime world with a sweeter personality then her.)

and Laura, from Hamtaro with my Hamtaro plushie.
