Another Anime Convention 2013

The Summer Matsuri experienced two major set backs before the doors even opened. First, in June the mini con was postponed. Then with only three days till show time we had to make a last minute venue change. But our staff was determined to put on the awesome event we had been promising for months. After a few late nights and biting our nails the doors opened on August 29th at the Radisson hotel in Manchester, NH.

Friday was a fun, laid back day. We played scategories, sang a little karaoke and had the always entertaining cosplay dance off. The Yomise dance was the perfect ending to our Friday night.

Saturday brought around conprov, cosplay chess, masquerade lite and oh yeah a pretty awesome band called Echostream! Topped off with a dance by DJ Supreet Makkar.

Thank you, to all of the attendees that stuck with us through a rough beginning. To the vendors and artist and to the staff who did everything that needed to get done so we could make this event happen, Thank you all!

The min-con was awesome and Echostream themselves were extremely nice, I'm glad I had the opportunity to chat with them

this may be sound silly but why do we have 2 memory posts? i have nothing against it but rather kinda curious (seeing as this forum is kinda strict on the 2 post that are similar). a/w i was kinda of surprise that there weren't as many people as i thought there would be.

oh, *nods in agreement*. it was fun and thanks goes to everyone who help made what seem like a lost hope appear again. small question though, during the "rave" y were the lights left on?

The way the hotel is setup, when the room is in use those lights must remain on as emergency lights.

Thanks to all the staff and everybody for doing this. Between this and the Yomise, you guys really go out of your way for all your attendees. And every single event, it's a great time. :D
