2025 Charity Raffle & Stuffed Animal Drive

One Simple Wish was launched in 2008 as an online giving platform designed to raise awareness and empower everyone to restore hope and happiness to kids and young adults impacted by foster care and crisis throughout the United States.

How to help: Your raffle ticket purchases and cash donations will go towards granting wishes. Visit the Vendor Hall on the 3rd floor to buy raffle tickets and learn more.

 Nuigurumi- Stuffed Animal Cafe and Stuffed Animal Donation Drive is a new event and charity at this year's Another Anime Convention. The stuffed animals we collect will be donated to local women’s shelters. These soft, cuddly companions provide a sense of security and familiarity, helping children cope with the stress and trauma of separation from their homes or loved ones.

A portion of stuffed animals will be used as part of the stuffed animal café for attendees to cuddle and receive comfort while they read. These gently used stuffed animals will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation New England, who through the proceeds from the sale of our donations will help to fund programs and research to benefit those living with epilepsy right in our community. (Used stuffed animals will be sanitized/cleaned daily.)

Rules:
Attendees can donate NEW stuffed animals to be donated to charity. Stuffed animal donations can be dropped off inside the Manga Library, located on the 3rd floor mezzanine. 

• We can only accept donations of new stuffed animals.
• Stuffed animals must be reasonable in size.
• No stuffed animals with the years sewn on them.
• No stuffed animals with battery compartments.
• No stuffed animals that make any noises.
• Stuffed animals need to have their tags.
• Build-a-Bears, Squishmallows, and Webkinz are particularly popular with children!
