Kathy greygoosery website
Greygoosery is an award winning New England based cosplayer and veteran in the cosplay community. Having made her first costume in 2004, she’s seen many techniques throughout the years and can remember a time when paper mache was the prop material of choice and raspberry pi just a delicious dessert. Her greatest accomplishments in her cosplay career are dancing with Billy Dee Williams while dressed as Groot, and that one time she finished a long seam on the last millimeter of a bobbin. Her specialties include hand finishings, pattern drafting, and late night hotel room sewing. In recent years she has taken a step back from cosplay, officially retiring in 2020 to pursue writing. She’s excited to come out of retirement for one more hoorah at her once home convention AAC, and cannot wait to see what amazing creations the cosplayers of today’s community are cooking up.
If you’re interested in learning more, you can find much of her work on websites that no longer exist. Or over on Instagram at @Greygoosery or Facebook at K.Odom Photography and Cosplay. And if you're not interested she doesn’t really blame you. She doesn’t want to look at irrelevant cosplay from years past either.
